1.
International/National Conferences
Organized by IPRI
a.
Peace Support Operations in
West and South Asia.
A seminar on “Peace Support Operations in West and South Asia” was organized
in collaboration with British High Commission, Islamabad on 2 September 2003
at Hotel Marriott, Islamabad. Dr Chris Smith of King’s College, London and
General (Retired) Sir Michael Rose, former Commander of UN Forces in Bosina
and currently working as Senior Associate Research Fellow at King’s College,
London addressed the seminar. The Pakistani scholars who participated in the
discussion were Dr Shireen M. Mazari, DG Institute of Strategic Studies,
Islamabad, Lt Gen (Retd) Talat Masood, Lt Gen (Retd) Kamal Mateenuddin, Dr
Maqbool Ahmed Bhatty, Lt Gen (Retd) Asad Durrani and Dr Riffat Hussain. Dr
Pervaiz Iqbal Cheema, President, IPRI gave the concluding remarks. The seminar
was well attended with broad representation from academic, research
institutions (QAU, ISS, IRS and IPRI), three services (Army, Navy and Air
Force), in addition to participation by Defence Attaches of various countries,
retired ambassadors, intellectuals and writers.
b.
The Regional Security Issues
in South and Central Asia.
A seminar on “The Regional Security Issues in South and Central Asia” was held
at Hotel Marriott, Islamabad on 2 December 2003. This seminar was organized
with members of China Arms Control and Disarmament Association (CACDA)
delegation comprising: HE Ambassador Li Daoyu, President, CACDA, Leader of the
delegation; Major General (Retired) Zhang Dongsheng; Mr Zheng RuiXiang, Senior
Research Fellow, CIIS; Mr Li Genxin, Secretary General and Mr Hu Libo,
Programme Officer. Four presentations were made in the seminar, two by Chinese
side and two from Pakistani side. The issues discussed during the seminar
included China’s New Concept of Security, Pak-India Peace Process, Sino-Indian
Relations, War Against Terrorism, and Pak-China Relations. The seminar was
attended by researchers, retired ambassadors and Army Officers and Government
Officials including Ambassador of China and other high level diplomats from
the Chinese Embassy.
c.
Conflict Resolution and
Regional Cooperation in South Asia.
An International
Seminar on “Conflict Resolution and Regional Cooperation in South Asia” was
held on 9-10 December 2003 at Hotel Serena, Islamabad in collaboration with
Hans Seidel Foundation, Munich, Germany. A total of nine sessions, including
inaugural and concluding, were held on different themes i.e. Managing Conflict
Between Nuclear Armed Rivals in South Asia, Strengthening CBM Regime in South
Asia, Promoting Regional Cooperation, Building Peace in South Asia, Third
Party Mediation in Conflict Resolution, Inter-Regional Cooperation, and Role
of Media in Conflict Resolution. The foreign scholars who participated in the
seminar were Professor Stanley Wolpert, USA; Dr R A Ariyaratne, Sri Lanka; Maj
Gen (Retd) Dipankar Banerjee, India; Professor Dr Ms S Pandit, India; Dr Rohan
K Gunaratna, Singapore and Dr Karan Sawhny, India. The Pakistani scholars who
presented papers included Dr Imtiaz H Bokhari, Dr Zafar Iqbal Cheema, Mr Niaz
A Naik, Lt Gen (Retd) Kamal Mateenuddin, Dr Ijaz Hussain, Dr Azmat Hayat Khan
and Ms Nasim Zehra. Mr Khushrid Mahmud Kasuri, Foreign Minister of Pakistan
delivered the inaugural address whereas Dr Pervaiz Iqbal Cheema, President,
IPRI and Dr Andreas Rieck, Resident Representative, Hans Seidel Foundation
gave opening and concluding remarks. A brief report on the proceeding of the
seminar was prepared and placed in record. A book covering the proceedings of
the seminar has also been published.

Arms Race and Nuclear
Developments in South Asia.
A two-day international seminar on “Arms Race and Nuclear Developments in
South Asia” was held on 20-21 April 2004 at Hotel Serena, Islamabad in
collaboration with Hans Seidel Foundation, Munich Germany. The seminar was
organized into eight sessions including inaugural, concluding and six
technical sessions under separate themes, like Conventional Arms Race in South
Asia: A Comparative Analysis, Nuclear Developments in South Asia; Nuclear
Doctrines & Command and Control Systems; Missile Developments in South Asia;
Stability-Instability Paradox and Arms Control and CTBT Regime in South Asia.
The foreign scholars who participated in the seminar were Dr Raja Mohan,
India; Dr Chris Smith, UK; Professor Gopalji Malviya, India; Dr Christian
Wagner, Germany; Mr Bharat Karnad, India; Maj Gen (Retd) Dipankar Banerjee,
India; Dr L F Ryabikhin, Russia; Dr Varun Sahni, India; Mr Hu Shisheng, China;
Mr P R Chari, India and Ambassador Takaya Suto, Japan. The Pakistani scholars
who presented papers included Dr Imtiaz H Bokhari, Lt Gen (Retd) Kamal
Mateenuddin, Dr N M Butt, Dr Shireen M Mazari, Mr Zafar Nawaz Jaspal,
Brigadier Naeem A Salik and Dr Noman Sattar. General Jehangir Karamat, former

inaugural address whereas Dr Pervaiz Iqbal Cheema, President IPRI and Dr

2.
Visits by Foreign/Pakistani Scholars.
Following
scholars/delegations visited IPRI and held in-house discussions in areas of
their expertise: -

On
the invitation of IPRI, an academic and media delegation from Bangladesh
comprising six members visited Pakistan from 20 to 26 July 2003. The members
of the delegation were Maj Gen (Retd) Syed M Ibrahim, President,
Institute of Hazrat Mohammad (SAW); Prof A F M Yousaf Haider, Ph. D., Pro-VC
of Dhaka University; Mr Mizanur Rehman Khan, Assistant Editor, The Daily
Jugantor; Mr Amir Khasru, Senior Reporter, Daily Ittefaq, Ms
Ayesha Kabir, Editor, PROBE News Magazine and Mr Amanullah Kabir,
Managing Director and Chief Editor, Bangladesh News Agency BSS. An informal
discussion was held at IPRI on 21 July 2003, which focused on Strengthening
Pak-Bangladesh Relations, India Pakistan Relations, SAARC Summit and Indian
Hegemonic Policies. The delegation met Minister of Information and also had
informal discussions at various organizations at Islamabad, Lahore and
Peshawar i.e. PTV Islamabad, Area Study Center Peshawar University,
Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad, LUMS Lahore and GEO TV.
b.
An in-house discussion with Mr Stephen P Cohen, Senior Fellow, The
Brooking Institution, USA was held at IPRI Conference Room on 13 August 2003.
c.
An in-house discussion with Turkish media person/intellectuals was held
at IPRI Conference Room on
23 August 2003.
d.
IPRI invited Lady Olga Maitland, President, Defence and Security Forum
(DSF), UK to visit Pakistan from 15 to
20 September 2003
and arranged the following meetings/discussions at Islamabad, Peshawar,
Muzaffarabad and Lahore:-

In Islamabad three
in house discussions were organised with the leading think tanks. The first
was held on 15 September 2003 at Institute of Regional Studies (IRS) where she
made a presentation on “International Peace Keeping and the Challenges it
Faces,” followed by open discussion. The second in house discussion was held
on 16 September 2003
at Institute of Strategic Studies (ISS). The topic for discussion was “British
Perspectives on Handling Terrorism.” The third discussion was held in the
afternoon of 16 September 2003
at IPRI where she spoke on “British Perspective on Pakistan and Kashmir
Situation,” followed by open discussion.

On 17 September
2003 she visited Chakoti and Muzaffarabad where she attended a briefing at
Chakuti Post and met Sardar Anwar Khan, President AJK. Next day she met APHC
leader Ghulam Mohammad Safi.
·
On 19 September
2003 she visited Lahore and gave a talk on “Developments in Iraq” at the
Department of Political Science Punjab University.

IPRI invited Col (Retd) Christopher Roland Langton, Head, Defence
Analysis Department; Editor, The Military Balance; The International
Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), UK to visit Pakistan from 22 to 27
September 2003 and arranged following meetings/discussions:-

On 22 September
2003 he visited IPRI and gave a talk on “The Post War Geo-strategic Situation
in the Middle East & Relations with US.”
·
On 23 September
2003 he held a discussion at ISSI on “The Changing Global Security
Environment: the Implication for Armed Forces and Foreign Policy.” He also
participated in a discussion held at IRS on “Addressing New Trans-border
Threats.”
·
On 24-25 September 2003 he visited LOC and refugees camp in
Azad Kashmir. He also met the local leadership of All Parties Hurriat
Conference (APHC) in addition to his meeting with the President of Azad
Kashmir.
·
On 26 September
2003 he visited Peshawar and gave a talk at Area Study Centre (China, Russia
and Central Asia), Peshawar University on “US Invasion of Afghanistan: Impact
on Central Asia
and Russia”. He also visited Khyber Pass and attended a briefing at Michni
Post.

IPRI invited a high level delegation of media representative
from Sri
Lanka to visit Pakistan from 28 September to 4 October 2003.
The members of the delegation included Mr Gamini Weerakon, Chief Editor,
The Island; Mr P Balasingham, Deputy Editor, Daily News; Mr
Siriranasinghe, Editor, Lanka Deepa; Al Haj N M Ameen, Managing Editor,
Lake House Group of Publication; and Mr A Sivanesase Chelvan, Editor,
Thinkural. IPRI arranged the following meetings/discussions:-

On 29 September
2003, an informal discussion was held at IPRI on “Pak-Sri Lanka Relations.” On
the same day, the delegation also visited PTV Centre Islamabad and called on
Information Secretary and Foreign Secretary.
·
On 30 September
2003 the delegation held an informal discussion at ISSI.
·
On 1 October 2003
the delegation visited Chakoti and attended a briefing at LOC.
·
On 2 October 2003
the delegation visited Lahore and held a discussion at Department of Political
Science, University of Punjab. In the evening they visited Wahga Border and
witnessed the Flag Lowering Ceremony.
·
On 3 October the delegation visited Karachi and had
a discussion at Area Study Centre, Karachi University. The delegation also
visited Geo TV Karachi.

IPRI invited Mr T L G Mullen, a former teacher at Atchison
College, Lahore to visit Pakistan from 5 to 11 October 2003
and arranged following meetings/discussions:-

On 6 October 2003
he visited IPRI and gave a talk on “Education: The Key to Pakistan’s Success”
followed by an open discussion.
·
On 7 October 2003
he visited ISS and gave a talk on “Pakistan’s Foreign Policy and It’s Impact
on the World.” In the afternoon he visited Taxila.
·
On 8 October 2003 he visited Peshawar and had a talk at
Institute of Education and Research, Peshawar University on “Education: The
Key to Pakistan’s Success.” He also visited Khyber Pass and
attended a briefing at Michni Post.
·
On 9 October 2003
he visited Lahore and participated in various programmes organised by
Aitchison College Lahore.
·
On 10 October 2003
he called on the Prime Minister of Pakistan Mir Zafarullah Jamali at the Prime
Minister’s House Islamabad. Being teacher of the PM at Atchison College, he
remained with the PM for some time and discussed promotion of quality
education in Pakistan.

On 9 October 2003,
an in-house discussion was arranged with Dr Marvin G Weinbaum on “Afghanistan”
at IPRI Conference Room.
i.
On 17 October 2003, an in-house discussion with Mr
Montazeran, Head, Centre for Asia and Pacific, Institute for Political and
International Studies, Tehran on “Pakistan-Iran Cooperation for Regional
Stability and Peace” was held at IPRI Conference Room.

On 22 October 2003, a five member Russian Delegation
comprising Dr Sergel N Kamenev, Head of Pakistan Section of Institute of
Oriental Studies; Anatolay Shapavlov, Journalist from Rossikauya Gazeta;
Mr Boris Volkhonshy, Journalist, Daily Kommersa; Mr Ggorgei Zotov and
Mr Alaxander visited IPRI and held an informal discussion on “Pakistan-Russian
Relations.”

On 24 October 2003, a high level Canadian Parliamentarian
Delegation, headed by Honourable Diane Marleau, former Minister for
International Cooperation along with Honourable Art Eggleton, MP, Former
Minister for Defence and International Trade; Mr Mark Eyking, MP; Mr Deepak
Obhrai, MP; Mr John Harvard, MP; Mr Stephen Bergeron, MP; Mr James Lee,
Researcher; Ms Elizabeth Kingston, Clerk, House of Commons; Mr Bryan Burton,
Deputy High Commission for Canada; Mr Aized Ali, Senior Political Analyst,
Canadian High Commission and Ms Rizwana Khan, French Interpreter visited IPRI
and held an informal discussion focusing on “Indo-Pak Relations” and issues
relating to strengthening of democracy in Pakistan.

On 6 November 2003, an in-house discussion with Professor
Aleksander Glogowski, Vice Chairman of the Society of Graduated of the 5th
Secondary School in Cracow, Poland was held on “Afghanistan-Pakistan
Relations” was held at IPRI.

an in-house discussion with Mr Michael Krepon, the founding President of Henry
L. Stimson Center was held on “Would US and Pakistan National Security Bring
US and Pakistan Together or Drive Them Apart?” at IPRI.

On 14 November
2003, Mr Scott Gilmore, Deputy Director South Asia, Canada visited IPRI and
delivered a lecture.

IPRI invited a four member delegation from Shanghai
Institute for International Studies (SIIS), Beijing, China comprising Mr Wang
Xiaoshu, Head of the delegation; Mr Zhao
Gancheng, Senior Fellow and Director of South Asia Studies; Mr Li
Weijian, Senior Fellow and Director of Middle East Studies
and Ms
Ma Ying, Senior Fellow at South Asia Studies to visit Pakistan from 26 November to 6 December 2003 and
arranged following meetings/discussions:-

On 27-29 November 2003, the delegation visited Karachi and
held a discussion with scholars of Pakistan Institute of International
Affairs.
·
On 1 December
2003, visited IPRI and held an informal discussion focusing on
“China-Pakistan-India Relations”.
·
On 2 December
2003, the delegation visited Quaid-e-Azam
University and held a discussion at Department of Defence and Strategic
Studies. The delegation also visited Foreign Office and held meeting with
Additional Foreign Secretary.
·
On 4 December
2003, the delegation visited ISS and held a discussion on “China-Pakistan
Relations.”
·
On 5 December
2003, the delegation visited IRS and held a discussion with their scholars.
·
On 6 December
2003, the delegation visited Fatima
Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi and held a discussion with students and
faculty of Department of Defence and Diplomatic Studies. The delegation also
visited FRIENDS, Rawalpindi.

2003, Mr Aziz Alkazaz, Economist, German Institute of Middle East visited IPRI
and delivered a lecture on “Iraq Under Occupation: Political and Economic
Aspect.”

IPRI invited a five member delegation from China Arms

Situation and US Policies.” In the afternoon, the delegation visited IPRI and
exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.

4 December
2003, the delegation visited IRS and held a discussion on “Promotion of
Pak-China Bi-lateral Relations.”

On 20 January 2004, an
in-house discussion with Professor Akihiro Iwashita of the Slavic Research
Center (SRC), Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan on “Post-Cold War
Sino-Russian Relations and their Impact on Asian Regions” was held at IPRI.

On 22 January 2004, an
in-house discussion with Mr Phil Reeker, the Spokesman-at-large of the State
Department, USA on “Future of Pak-US Relations” was held at IPRI.

On the invitation of IPRI
a UAE media delegation comprising five members visited Pakistan from 23 to
28 February 2004. The members of the delegation were Dr Sherif
Mohammad El Bassel Managing Editor, Al Fajr Newspaper; Galal Bushra
Alfadul, Chief Editor, Alwahda; Mr Hussan Kanafani, Al Khaleej;
Muawia E Ibrahim, Senior Reporter, Khaleej Times and Mr Nadim Kaawach,
Bureau Chief, Gulf News. An informal discussion was held at IPRI on
23 February 2004, which focused on Strengthening Pak-UAE Relations, India
Pakistan Relations, SAARC Summit and Indian Hegemony Policies. The
delegation also met Minister of Information, Minister for Foreign Affairs
and also had informal discussions at various organizations at Islamabad,
Lahore and Peshawar i.e. PTV Islamabad, Area Study Center Peshawar
University, ISSI, LUMS and Geo TV.

On 26 February 2004, an
in-house discussion with Dr Eynulla Madtli, Ambassador of the Republic of
Azerbaijan and other officials of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Republic of
Azerbaijan on “Azerbaijan-Armenian Conflict” was held at IPRI.

On 8 March 2004, an
in-house discussion with a Turkish Delegation headed by Ambassador (Retd)
Murat Bilhan from the Institute of Strategic Studies, Ankara was held at
IPRI.

On 12 March 2004, an
in-house discussion with Dr Hein Kiessling, Ex-representative Hans Seidel
Foundation, Islamabad on “Contemporary Political Issues in South Asia and
Europe” was held at IPRI.

On 15 March 2004, an
in-house discussion with German Delegation headed by Col (R) Folker Flasse,
President of Humanity Care Foundation; along with other members Mr Mathius
Mous; Dr Maritta Flasse; Dr Gudrun Schuette; Mr Rolf Pasch; Mr Drik Anger;
Mr Hans Christian and Mr Toblas Schhriter was held at IPRI.

On 17 March 2004, a team
from International Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IIPCR), NUST
Rawalpindi headed by Mr Javed Jabbar visited IPRI and discussed the
possibilities of collaboration between the two institutions.

On the invitation of IPRI a Chinese media delegation comprising five
members visited Pakistan from 22 March to 1 April 2004.
The members of the delegation were Professor Yang Cui Bai, Mr Wu
Bai Yi, Mrs Han Hua, Mr Zhang
Liang and Ms Shi Pengyun. An informal discussion was held at IPRI on 24 March 2004,
which focused on ‘Strengthening Sino-Pak Relations.’ The delegation met with
the President of Pakistan including Information Minister and Minister for
Foreign Affairs. Informal discussions of the delegation were organized at
various organizations in Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar i.e. PTV Islamabad,
Area Study Center, Peshawar University, ISSI, LUMS and Geo TV.

On the invitation of IPRI
a South African media delegation comprising six members visited Pakistan
from 7 to 14 May 2004. The members of the delegation were Mr Jonathan
Etienne Fourie, Ms Nikiwe Bikitsha, Mr Francois Gerke, Mrs Anita Visser, Mr
Salman I Khan, Mrs Shamshad Begum Sayed. An informal discussion was
held at IPRI on 7 May 2004, which focused on Strengthening Pakistan and
South African Relations. The delegation also met DG, EP Wing, DG (UN &
Disarmament) Foreign Office and South African High Commission. Informal
discussions of the delegation were organized at various organizations at
Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar i.e. PTV Islamabad, Area Study Center
Peshawar University, ISSI, LUMS and Geo TV.

On the invitation of IPRI
an Iranian media delegation comprising six members visited Pakistan from
14-19 June 2004. The members of the delegation were Mr Ali Yousafpour, Mr
Ali Qasemi, Mr Khosrow Soltani Kaseb, Mr Nasir Yamin Mardokhi (Kurdistani),
Mr Pir Muhammad Mollazahi, Mr Fazalullah Salavati. An informal discussion
was held at IPRI on 14 June 2004, which focused on ‘Strengthening Pak-Iran
Relations.’ The delegation also met with Information Minister; Mr Rashid
Saleem, DG (Afghanistan & CAR) Foreign Office; Dr Ashfaq Hasan Khan,
Ministry of Finance and Dr Javed Iqbal. Besides IPRI, informal discussions
of the delegation were organized at various Institutes/Organizations in
Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar i.e. PTV Islamabad, Area Study Center
Peshawar University, and LUMS.
Visits Abroad and Participation by
IPRI Representatives/ Delegation in Seminars/Conferences

Dr Perviaz Iqbal Cheema participated in a seminar on “Understanding and
Combating Terrorism in South Asia,” organized by Regional Centre for Strategic
Studies (RCSS) at Colombo, Sri Lanka on 5-6 July 2003.
b.
Dr Maqsudul Hasan Nuri participated in a workshop organised by
Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS), Dhaka,
Bangladesh on “Regional Stability: The Role of Small States” held at Dhaka,
Bangladesh, from 7-8 October 2003.
c.
Ms Sadia Nasir was selected for UNESCO/Keizo Obuchi Research Fellowship
Programme for the year 2003. She completed her Research Fellowship Programme
in Germany on “Conflict Resolutions in
South Asia.”
d.
Dr Perviaz Iqbal Cheema participated in a seminar on “Human Security in
South Asia,” organised by BIISS, Bangladesh on 1-2 November 2003.
e.
Dr Perviaz Iqbal Cheema participated in a seminar on “Middle East”
organized by Bundesnachrichtendienst, Germany on
20 November 2003.
f.
Dr Imtiaz H Bokhari visited Malaysia,
Singapore and Japan from 11-20 November 2003. He was invited by Japanese
Committee of the PDSAP, Okinawa, Japan to participate in ‘The International
Conference for Peace, Disarmament and Symbiosis,’ held on 14-17 November 2003
at Okinawa, Japan. In addition to participating in the conference, he also
visited Research Institute of Policies (RIPS) and National Institute of
Defence Studies (NIDS), Tokyo. During his visit to Malaysia and Singapore he
interacted with think tanks such as Institute of Strategic & International
Studies (ISIS), Kuala Lumpur and Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies (IDSS),
Singapore.
g.
Dr Perviaz Iqbal Cheema visited Germany from 19-25 November 2003 to
participate in the 5th Public Symposium held on
20 November 2003
in Pullach (Munich) and presented a paper on “Middle East-Struggle for
Stability, Resource Control”. He also delivered a talk on “Indo-Pak Peace
Process” held at the South Asia Institute, Heidelberg University on 24 November 2003

Dr Pervaiz Iqbal Cheema participated as a panalist in the 10th
Summer Workshop on “Defence, Technology and Cooperative Security in South
Asia” organised by the Fudan University, Shanghai, China from 2-6 December
2003.
i.
Mr Ahmed Ijaz Malik visited Salzbrug to act as fellow of a
session of Salzburg Seminar and made two presentations on “Terrorist Threats
to the US
in East Asia: 2004-2014” and “Changing Concepts of Security in Asia” held at
Scholars Leopoldskron on 3-10 December 2003.

Mr Aly Zaman participated in the 10th Summer
Workshop on “Defence, Technology and Cooperative Security in South Asia ” at
Fudan University Shanghai, China organized by Regional Centre for Strategic
Studies (RCSS), Colombo, Sri Lanka on 3-13 December 2003.

Dr Perviaz Iqbal Cheema participated in a workshop on Defence organized
by Regional Centre for Strategic Studies, Colombo, Sri Lanka on 3-13 December

delegation of IPRI comprising Dr Pervaiz Iqbal Cheema, President; Head of the
delegation; Dr Imtiaz H Bokhari, Vice-President; Dr Rashid Ahmad Khan, Senior
Research Fellow; Dr Maqsudul Hasan Nuri, Senior Research Fellow; Dr Zulfqar

China at the invitation of China Arms Control and Disarmament Association (CACDA)
from 23 May to 28 May 2004, and held discussions, participated in seminars,
presented papers and interacted with Chinese intellectuals, academicians,
defense analysts and foreign policy experts at various
institutions/organizations based in Beijing. The detail is appended below: -

On 24 May 2004, the delegation visited China Arms Control and
Disarmament Association (CACDA) and held an in-house discussion. Dr Maqsudul
Hasan Nuri made a presentation on “Security in South Asia and Sino-Pak
Relations”. Dr Zulfqar Khan made a presentation on”Politics of Nuclear
Non-Proliferation with Particular Reference to South Asia”.

On 25 May 2004, the delegation visited China Academy for
Contemporary International Relations (CASIR) and held an in-house discussion.
Dr Rashid Ahmad Khan made a presentation on “ China Dynamics and Future
Prospects of Pakistan-China Relations”. In the afternoon the delegation also
had a 90-minutes meeting with Vice-Foreign Minister Dai Bingguo and a luncheon
meeting with the Ambassador of Pakistan to China.

On 26 May 2004, the delegation visited China Institute for
International Strategic Studies (CIISS) and held an in-house discussion. Dr
Imtiaz H Bokhari made a presentation on “Regional Global Security and Prospect
of Sino-Pak Relations”. In the afternoon the delegation visited China
Association of International Understanding (CAIU) and held a talk on various
issues.

On 27 May 2004, the delegation visited Institute of Asia-Pacific
Studies, Academy of Social Sciences and held an in-house discussion. Mr
Muhammad Munir made a presentation on “The Post 911 World: Geopolitical
